2017 JDRF Hope Gala Honorees
The Micatrotto Family | MRG Marketing & Management, Inc.
The JDRF Nevada Chapter is thrilled to announce the Micatrotto Family as the 2017 Hope Gala Honorees. Eleven years ago, the Micatrotto family formed what today is called MRG Marketing & Management, the franchise partner for Raising Cane’s currently operating in Nevada and Arizona.
The founders, Joe Micatrotto Sr., Connie Micatrotto, Justin Micatrotto and Joe Micatrotto II, sought to procure a concept aligned with their goals and values. The family group took their years of experience in the restaurant industry and decided to form a restaurant management company focusing on exceptional guest service and quality food. When determining where to base MRG, it was decided Las Vegas provided the proper environment and great national exposure. While tourists dominate the Las Vegas perception, locals are what make it sustainable. Being a part of and understanding the Las Vegas community is at the heart of MRG.
Since forming in 2005, MRG has donated tens of thousands of dollars to their communities and have made Community Strong a cornerstone of the way they do business. The MRG Family views giving back with our heads, hearts, and hands, as an investment in the future stability and growth of our communities. MRG works on a daily basis to grow the brand, give back to their communities, and create a work culture that has no rival in the industry. In the end, it’s all about their ONE LOVE®!
We're the stop at nothing type
JDRF exists for the millions of children, adults, and families affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) every single day. Their determination to overcome this disease strengthens ours to end it by funding life-changing T1D research.
T1D is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin — a hormone essential to turning food into energy. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
Your participation in JDRF events ensures that JDRF can continue funding critical T1D research. With your support, this research will continue to bring us closer to a world without T1D.
